Oyster House, the restaurant located in downtown Olympia, is set to reopen later this month. This historic landmark was ruined last summer in a major fire during Capital Lakefair. The restaurant’s owners, Tom and Leticia Barrett, promised to rebuild and they’ve held true to their word. The restaurant is scheduled to reopen July 20th, and will bring some old and new to guests. While certain things such as the tables and paint color will be the same as before the restaurant burned, there will also be new features such as an improved waiting area complete with aquarium. For the most part the menu has remained the same, but there will be some slight improvements and changes. Whether you are a local or a visitor, be sure to stop by Oyster House to help celebrate the much anticipated return of this great restaurant!
